It is such a reward to have families that have purchased our puppies keep in contact with us - sending us pictures and telling us how happy our pups have made them. I have to admit that sometimes caring for so many puppies at once can be very overwhelming. Don't get me wrong, we absolutely adore them, but it is a lot of work! It is such an encouragement to hear how much joy our pups have brought to their families. These are recent pictures and comments we received.

Looking for a New Camera

I got puppy pictures updated, but they aren't very good! I
do not know what causes the yellow tint. I tried and tried
and decided I at least needed to get some type of picture
on the website so these guys can find their forever homes.

We did say goodbye to King (now Max) on Sunday. He is
living in a very loving home in Illinois.

Photography is not my favorite part of this business. It
might be if I had a good camera. I am looking for advice.
If anyone knows what the best camera would be for taking
puppy shots please let me know.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I am in the process of posting pictures. We have a new mommy, Sage, and due to much
that has been going on around here this holiday season, I am running behind! I am doing
my best to get them posted today. Sage had two girls and three boys on 11/17/11 and
they are just adorable!! Sage has been a wonderful little mommy!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Lots going on around here as we get ready for Christmas. We said good bye to Cisco Kid last Saturday. We know he will enjoy celebrating Christmas with his new family in New York.

We still have three absolutely adorable little guys still looking for their forever homes. I'm not sure why the boys are always the last to find homes. They are always my favorites. They love to please and are so teachable.

Merry Christmas to all, remember Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

GOOD BYE LONE RANGER

We just said good bye to Lone Ranger, one of Lacie's puppies. It is always hard
to see them go, but it is such fun meeting new people and knowing that our puppies
are going to loving forever homes. Thank you, Minock family, for giving Lone Ranger
his forever home.

Price of Puppies

We have many people that stop by our website and contact us about our puppies.
A number of people question why we charge so much for our puppies. If you have
ever had a puppy you know the time and expense that goes into raising them, well
multiply that times five or six. A lot of time goes into cleaning, grooming, feeding,
socializing, and keeping each puppy healthy and happy. (Now don't get me wrong,
I am not complaining, I actually love every minute of it!!) This, however, was not
the reason why we decided on the pricing of our puppies.

People spend hundreds of dollars on phones, computers,toys,etc. that will last a
couple of years and then may be tossed aside. We want our puppies to be life long family
members. They will live to be 12-15 years old. We don't want them to be tossed
aside!! We price our puppies so we know that people understand the commitment they
are making when bringing a puppy home.

We receive great joy hearing stories and getting pictures from families that have given
our puppies forever homes.

Picture Taking is Not my Favorite Thing to do!

Lacie's puppies are 11 weeks old and full of energy! Posing for pictures is not on their agenda! I have to follow them around with the camera trying to catch them doing something cute or wait until they just crash!!

Hopefully I will have some new pictures on the websites before the day is over!!

This is Cheyenne, he is so gorgeous and is such a sweetheart! He is sleeping at my feet right now :)

Loving the sunshine

After two days of constant drizzle the sunshine is sooo welcomed!
I will close off the deck today and let the puppies romp out there, they
will love it! They definately need to run off some of there energy! I
have a terrible time updating pictures when they don't want to stand
still! And picture taking is on my agenda for today!!

Since they were named after cowboys this time I did my best to find
cowboy gear to use for their pictures. I guess little boys don't want to
be cowboys anymore, because I couldn't find a thing.

I still have one little girl and 4 little boys looking for forever homes.
They are all sweet hearts!!

Our little Calamity Jane now known as Penny is preparing for her departure to her forever home. We always hate saying goodbye, but we love hearing the joy that our puppies bring to their new families.

I heard from one of my puppy buyers, and thought I would share it with you. She also included a picture and her puppy is a handsome fellow. His parents are Kitzi and Connor.

Here is an updated picture of Rigley after his first birthday.

He has been a wonderful dog for my husband and I.

We are very pleased with how quickly he learns new tricks; ability to be house trained (he has had free reign of the house since March 2011 while we are at work); his good manners with people of all ages and other dogs; and his overall wonderful disposition and personality.

Rigley loves to go fishing with my husband and had his first plane ride in July (a little crying, but overall a good traveler).

Rigley has been very healthy and has taken well to all vaccines.

He has stolen the hearts of our extended family.

Thank you for such a great dog.

Lacie's puppies had lots of new experiences today. They had their vaccinations and were little troupers! The weather was so gorgeous today that I put their pen out on the deck and they got to experience the outdoors for the first time. They were so cute romping and enjoying the fresh air. They played for about an hour and a half and then were ready to crash. That was a very good time to introduce them to the crate. They settled in for a good nap!

Pupppies going to Forever Homes

We are busy getting Kitzi's puppies ready to go to their forever homes.
Three will be leaving us this week, one went home last week. All of
Sophie's except one little guy have gone to their forever homes. We
miss them, but know for certain that each goes to a very loving home.
We have more puppies that will be ready soon.

GORGEOUS SHICHONS

God has blessed us with some absolutely gorgeous shichons. Sophie's chocolate shichons
are finding their forever homes. We only have two little guys left. We miss them all when
they leave us, but we know they are going to terrific, loving forever homes. Kitzi's puppies are getting so cute, bouncing around and such pretty markings. They will be leaving us soon also.
Kyra went to the vet this morning. She has been retired and will be 100% lap dog!

Shichons make terrific pets for seniors. My mom,age 85 has one and he is a great companion. My Dad went to be with the Lord this year and Mom would be lost without her little shichon "Buddy"!

BUSY AT LIL SENSATIONS SHICHONS

We are staying really busy right now with two litters. Sophie's pups are now five
weeks old and Kitzi's will soon be three weeks old. They are all such cuties and we
do not have any trouble at all with socializing them. My husband always has one
on his lap while watching tv at night. The grandkids are always asking to play with
them. Sophie's shichon pups are getting their own personalities and romping and wrestling
with toys now. Kitzi's shichon pups are just beginning to waddle around with wobbly little
legs.

On top of keeping busy with the pups it is now time for summer haircuts for the
adults. Most of them stand quite still for grooming, however, there are a few that
just do not like the sound of the clippers or the look of the scissors! They look
really cute cut short in my opinion, and much cooler and easier to keep clean.

We welcome visitors to show off our shichon teddy bear puppies. Stop by and
see us sometime!

SOPHIE'S NEW LITTER

Sophie and Romeo are the proud parents of five bouncing babies!!
Two girls and three boys all doing very well. They are all brown
with tiny spots of white on chest and paws of some. They will
definately look like little teddy bears when they get a little older.

Shichon's Loving the spring weather

I am not very good at blogging! I am way behind at posting on here.
Our shichon's are loving being outside now in the spring weather.
It needs to be just a little warmer for me though!

Abby, a shichon puppy, went to her forever home today in Ohio. She
was such a sweetheart. Always came when called. Loved to cuddle!
We will miss her, but know she went to a great loving home. We still
have two of her brothers available. Although I really am considering
keeping one of them myself. Shichon puppies have just the greatest
temperaments. Never nippy, or yappy! They are the best lap dogs.

We just took one of our shichon puppies to my mom who is 84. They
make great companions.

We had a safe trip to the airport. Our shichon teddy bear puppy, Blitzen, is in the air
to Houston, Texas. She is such a little doll. So calm and cuddly. Her forever family
will just love her I am sure.

We have four shichon puppies left now. They are all so cute with their own personalities.
I know they will be finding forever homes soon also.

Cold January

Our teddy bear shichon puppies don't think much of this cold January weather.
It was 17 below zero this morning in Indiana. Our shichon puppies normally like
to go out and play around in the snow a little while before coming back in. But
this morning they just did their duty and ran right back up the steps to the door!
We have one female and three males that are 10 weeks old. So cute to watch them
chase each other and play with their toys.
Beatrice gave us 6 cuties that are now 3 weeks old. They are just starting to wobble
around their kennel.
